Order Fulfilment
Any order placed before 1pm (GMT) Monday-friday will be processed the same day unless the parts ordered fall under the VCR Act or require some resolution between TWC and the customer. In the case of your order falling under the VCR ACT - Violent crime reduction act 2007 (twchambers.co.uk) you will be notified by email of the conditions for us to supply these goods to you and your order will be set to pending. Once these conditions are met the items will be dispatched. If there is any problem with your order we will call or email you on the information provided at check out to get a resolution before shipping out your order. If we do not here back before the deadline of 1pm your order will be set to pending and will be dispatched once you have responded to our email/call.
Customers can choose any method of delivery they would like but TWC cannot be held responsible for a delay in sending your items if 1. you have ordered after 1pm (this is when the mail is collected). 2. you have not replied before 1pm to any correspondence. 3. you have ordered when we are closed. Shipping Cost
Shipping costs are calculated using both dimensions and weight of items in your order.
Royal Mail deliver most of our orders.
At checkout you will be given the option of choosing a standard or premium service.
UK Customers
All goods up to 5Kg are sent First Class post.
We suggest an insured service is used for higher value orders,
a) Recorded Delivery (up to £50 value)
b) Special Delivery (up to £500 value)
Certain items such as guns and heavy goods over 5Kg are sent Parcel Force.
Please Note - We reserve the right to decline an order if in our opinion insufficient insurance has been selected.
Non UK Customers
All goods are sent First Class Airmail. The maximum weight of package by Airmail is 2Kg.
We require an insured service be used for higher value orders, Choose either,
a) International Signed For that gives cover to £250.
b) Tracked that gives cover to £250.
Airmail sent to non EU member states that is not sent Insured and/or Tracked is posted at the customer’s risk.
Please Note TRACKED can ONLY be used to the following countries,
Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Canary Islands, Corsica, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Madeira, Malaysia, Monaco, Netherlands, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, USA, Singapore, New Zealand.
Unrestricted Exports
Low power airgun parts and most accessories can be exported from the UK without an export license. However it is the buyer''s responsibility to ensure that any items ordered are not subject to either Import restriction or prohibition in their own jurisdiction. We cannot accept any responsibility for items confiscated or detained by overseas customs services regardless of insurance. Any charges incurred by T W Chambers & Co for the return of orders by postal services or authorities will be the responsability of the customer.
SILENCERS WILL NOT be shipped to USA (including ALL USA territories & dependencies) or Canada.
Restricted Exports
All higher power airgun, firearm and shotgun parts do require an export license to permit shipping out of the UK, even within the EU. Please contact us before ordering such items and we will advise if it is practical to supply.
DAMAGED GOODS and DELIVERY SIGNATURES
Please examine all packages at time of delivery before signing. Signatures are taken as proof of receipt in good condition unless noted otherwise. All damaged packages MUST be either refused or signed RECEIVED DAMAGED and in either case Damage must be advised to ourselves within three days of delivery. No claims will be considered unless this has been complied with.
